JCAHPO events are a great place to network with other technicians and dressing memorably can help your first impression land. This year, I have attended the 2018 New York Continuing Education Program in Times Square and it gave me an excuse to put this outfit together.
The black polka dotted top is fun and airy, while the faux-leather paneled skirt is edgy. To sweeten the look, I’ve added a cardigan, but to make sure the look isn’t too sweet, I’ve thrown in some studs– stud earrings, studded watch and the unbelievably fierce studded neon yellow pumps. The look is professional, with the black and white theme, but the unexpected pop of color from the shoe is lively and fun.
This is such an adorable outfit. Optician Keli would have done anything for this look, especially for the shoes. I think this is a great way to dress up while keeping a funky punk vibe. Dressing up can be fun but it’s important to make sure you don’t lose yourself in the clothes. Small details may seem insignificant but can speak volumes if done correctly.
